This poster was designed for Cuaderno de Verano (Summer Notebook) an exhibition where Luis Vassallo displayed a collection of drawings and paintings created during 2015 and 2016, and also presented a new series (2017) of painted sculptures titled The Autonomy of the Stars.
Framed within the program of the Kultur festival by the Government of Navarre, the exhibition took place at the Casa de la Cultura in Aoiz during the summer of 2017.
The spiral composition of the text Cuaderno de Verano / Udako Koadernoa, equally encompasses both languages of the culture program (Spanish and Basque), creating a bilingual design that intertwines with the exhibition’s own artistic work.
