A Time for Giants

A Time for Giants was the third album by the band Inhabitants, a project led by Jesús Vassallo (vocals, guitars), Richard Bandini (guitars), Jaime Olmedo (bass), Carlos Seoane (keys and steel guitar), and Luis Vassallo (keys).

Inhabitants, who had developed a darker and more independent sound on their previous two albums, surprised with ‘A Time for Giants,’ an LP recorded live in a single session. It blended their established identity with a brighter sound directly inspired by classic and contemporary Americana music.

The LP’s design draws from these musical influences, anchoring the album within that specific musical territory. On one hand, the typography pays homage to one of Dylan’s most famous albums, while on the other, it also drawn from the visual boldness and seamless design of designer Paula Scher’s early works for Atlantic Records.
