Writing Workshop

Architecture Writing Workshop is a digital platform for writers, practitioners and academics to explore and discuss issues affecting architecture discipline.

The design of AWW focuses on two of its most essential characteristics; to be a text based platform, grounded on writing (and reading) and its aim to participate in the contemporary discourse. Therefore its graphic identity was centered on legibility and framed in a contemporary editorial aesthetic. To underline this statement only two typefaces were used to build the whole platform (both present in the logotype), giving a neutral and contemporary aesthetic and leaving the room for its primary intention, to channel the different voices inside the essays, observations, and interviews that the editorial team seeks and arrange every two moths.
